How did I prepare for NIMCET? Resources & All Study Material

Image
I've been asked so many questions related to NIMCET on Linkedin and WhatsApp (from my juniors obviously) like how did I prepare, which resources I followed, which test series I joined, Is it possible to crack NIMCET without coaching so on and so forth. So, Let's see all the answers in one place.  I took coaching in my 3rd year of B.Sc from June 2019 to September 2020. It was a 1-year coaching but due to corona, it got extended till the NIMCET examination. Coaching was really helpful throughout my preparation. But I wasn't able to understand maths concepts there. The teachers were good no doubt but it wasn't working for me. And that's the reason why I performed very bad in initial coaching tests. I just felt coaching teachers were too focused on covering the syllabus and telling the short tricks instead of concepts. (P.S: Short tricks were good though but you have to memorize them!)  Ain't you planning to take coaching? No worries :) You can do it.   Resources fo...

How to attempt the NIMCET exam to score maximum marks?  Hi, I hope your NIMCET preparation is going well.πŸ˜€  In this post, I'm going to share how I attempted my NIMCET 2020 examination and scored 550+ marks (don't know the exact score because in your result card you won't get the score, you'll only get the AIR, no transparency πŸ˜•I know!). Remember, It's really important to attempt the exam in the right manner and utilize those 120 minutes in the best possible way.  After all, those 120 minutes will be going to decide the rest of your life. So, the idea is very simple, you have to attempt your paper in such a way that you don't leave any question unseen/ unread. Make sure to go through all the questions at least once. Students make this mistake quite often. They start their exam from the very first question and just start attempting one by one. Eventually, give most of the time to one section and left a lot of questions without even reading them.   Here's the...

How to study for NIMCET  in the last few days? KEEP CALM Warriors!  I just feel entrance exam aspirants are not less than warriors! Hey, future NITian! Keep calm. I know it's hard, but trust yourself you're gonna give your best shot. #Tip 1: Entrance exams are not about completing the syllabus, it's about revision. It's ok if you've not studied all the chapters. It's ok if you have covered only 50% of the topics. Yes, it's really OKAY. Don't try to learn anything new in these last few days. Just give your whole time to revision only. Whatever you have learned till now is enough! So, just go through your notes of each and every chapter one more time. [Last timeπŸ˜‰] #Tip 2: Do NIMCET & JEE previous year papers This is the most important thing you should do in your last few days. I know you must have already done NIMCET previous year papers, but trust me, doing it one more time, will not harm you right? Also, try to do JEE main previous year maths questi...
